This is a great side dish, or a great snack! It’s super yummy, because, well, bacon. And, it’s a great way to get healthy cabbage into the diet!
|Half head of cabbage
6-7 thick cut pieces of bacon
black pepper to taste
In a pan, on medium heat, cook the bacon.
While that’s cooking, chop the cabbage into bite sized pieces.
Once the bacon is cooked to your crispiness liking, place the bacon on paper towels to soak up the grease.
Drain the grease from to pan, leaving about a quarter of it to cook the cabbage in.
Add the cabbage, and cook until it’s soft.
Chop the bacon into crumbles.
Add the bacon to the cabbage, and season with black pepper.
Stir that all around, and serve.
Serves 4-6. ENJOY!!!
