Word of the Week: Determination!


  • a quality that makes you continue trying to do or achieve something that is difficult
  • the act of finding out or calculating something
  • the act of officially deciding something

To me, it’s something deep inside of us, that drives us to achieve the things we want. It drives us to follow through, and finish!


What does this word mean to you? What does it mean to you in regards to fitness and nutrition?

ACTION STEP: this week, from Wednesday to Wednesday, I want you to think about this word. Write down something that you’re determined to accomplish in regards to fitness and nutrition today. Tape it to your mirror, or somewhere you’ll see it every day. Then make it happen all week. Maybe it’s a new lifting PR, maybe it’s making sure you drink five glasses of water instead of four each day. Just pick something you really want to achieve!
